If you follow us on Instagram (which you definitely should) you will know that last week I was traveling around Peru for one of my best friends wedding!
I'll save the actual traveling tips and stories for another post but for this one I just wanted to talk about the wedding. Rachael flew to Suriname to meet up with her fiance, Kyle, to begin their cross continent trip from one side of South America to the other to meet everyone in Peru for their wedding.
They did this trip on a motorcycle. Through jungles and waist deep mud and lots of other things they probably didn't even tell us. After days without food and driving in the cold and rain they finally met us in Cusco where their motorcycle gave out on them and they crammed into a taxi with us to travel to the wedding destination in Maras, Peru!
They were on this thing for two weeks straight.
They hired a wedding planner, Lili, who put together an amazing ceremony and reception for them, complete with a centuries-old church, mountains in the background, and traditional Peruvian dances and food. The whole night was amazing and I'm sure Rachael will be sharing even more of her motorcycle stories and wedding thoughts on her own blog.
I just wanted to take a minute to say that it was a unique wedding that fit them perfectly and wanted to share a few photos with you all!
